Hi, I’m Debra.
This is me, feeling like a boss after birthing my second baby. I freakin LOVED giving birth, and would do it again in a heartbeat.
My first birth was a very different experience though. I was underprepared, uninformed, and was left feeling like an anxious mess for a long time afterwards. The difference in my postnatal journey between my two births was profound. And the key? Hypnobirthing.
I began to wonder, why are we not taught to know our strength and to own it with pride? And the more I discovered, the more I knew that this was my path - to support women to find their incredible strength. Because when a mother feels informed, empowered, confident in her abilities, she is a FORCE. And she can raise her children to know their power.
The calling into birthwork was clear, so I left behind my career in the NHS and here I am - an ambassador for mothers, for birth, and for embracing your power.
Here’s a snippet of the skills & trainings that I bring to my work:

Why Roar Birthing?
Nowhere is the incredible strength of the female mind & body more evident than in childbirth.
Every birthing Mama deserves an experience she can treasure, and I believe for this to happen we have to take radical responsibility for our own pregnancy and birth. We have to find our voice, our roar, and embrace the transformative power of birth.
I have three core beliefs that underpin everything I do here at Roar Birthing:
